Ingredients for making Matar Paneer Recipe:
- Paneer: 300 grams
- Green Peas : 1 cup
- Tomato Paste: 2 pcs
- Chopped Onion: 2 medium size
- Turmeric Powder: 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Powder: 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder: 2 tsp
- Kashmiri Red Chilli: 1 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder: 1/2 tsp
- Ginger Paste: 1 tsp
- Garlic Paste: 1 tsp
- Bay Leaf: 1 pcs
- Cumin Seeds: 1 tsp
- Dry Red Chilli: 2 pcs
- Green Chilli: 4 pcs
- Kasuri Methi: 1 tbsp
- Chopped Coriander: 1 handful
- Salt: as per taste
How to make Matar Paneer Recipe (Instructions):
1. First of all take 300 grams of paneer and cut it into pieces.
2. Now cut 2 tomatoes into four slices. Now take these chopped tomatoes in 1 mixer and add 4 raw chillis to it and paste it.
3. Then heat a pan and add some refined oil to it. When the oil is hot add the paneer to it.
4. Now add 1/2 tsp salt and fry the paneer.
6. Now add chopped onion and fry it for 7-8 minutes at medium flame.
7. After frying add 1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garlic paste and fry it for 2-3 minutes at medium flame.
9. Again add more little water on it and grined the spices very well for 4-5 minutes at medium flame.
11. After 5 minutes add green peas on it which is one of the main ingredient of the recipe and cook it for 4-5 minutes.
12. After 5 minutes add 1+1/2 cup water.
13. When the gravy starts boiling add the fried paneer on it and mix it well and cover it for 5 minutes at medium flame.
14. After 5 minutes open the lid and add roasted kasuri methi on it and mix it well.
15. Now turn off the oven and spread chopped coriander on it.
