Ingredients for making Dahi Katla Recipe:
- Katla fish: 500 grams
- Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric Powder: 1/4 teaspoon
- Red Chilli Powder: 1/4 teaspoon
- Refined Oil: 3 tablespoon
- Cumin Seeds: 1/4 teaspoon
- Cinnamon: 2 t
- Cardamon: 2 t
- Chopped Onion: 1 medium size
- Onion Paste: 1 medium size
- Ginger Paste: 1 teaspoon
- Garlic Paste: 1/2 teaspoon
- Green Chilli Paste: 2 teaspoon (as per taste)
- Cumin Powder: 1 teaspoon
- Coriander Powder: 1 teaspoon
- Sugar: 1 teaspoon (as per taste)
- Yogurt: 3 tablespoon
- Kismiss/Raisins: 1 handful of raisins
- Fresh Cream: 3+2 tablespoon
- Garam Masala Powder: 1/4 teaspoon
- Green Chilli: 4
How to make Dahi Katla Recipe (Instructions):
1. First of all, wash the fish well, and add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder and marinate it for 5 minutes.
2. Now put a little refined oil in a pan, when the oil is a little hot, put the fish in it and fry it well.

3. After frying the fish, put 3 tablespoon of oil in the pan and add panchforon, 1/4 teaspoon whole cumin seeds, 2 cinnamon sticks and fry for a little, after that add 1 medium sized chopped onion and fry it for 2 minutes on medium to low flame.
4. After frying the onion for 2 minutes, add the onion paste and fry again for 3 minutes on medium to low flame.
6. After frying, lower the flame and add 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder, 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder, 1 teaspoon Sugar (as per taste), 1/2 teaspoon salt (as per taste) and a little water and grined the spices on low flame for 3-4 minutes.
12. Now reduce the flame on low and add 4 green chillies, cover it and cook for 5 minutes.
13. After 5 minutes open the lid and spread 1/4 teaspoon of Garam Masala Powder on it and turn off the oven.
14. Add 2 more tablespoons of Fresh Cream at the end.
